Gymbaroo Williamstown has been in operation since 2007 when it opened as a new franchise. The gym has a permanent location in a warehouse, complete with a carpeted floor, air conditioning, heating and a toilet. Approximately 340 students attend the centre each term.

The franchise area is very large, ranging from Altona, Sunshine, Maidstone, Footscray and all suburbs towards the water. This allows for the possibility to open up another gym in any of the included suburbs. The gym currently operates 6 days a week and the permanent set up gives the owner flexibility in setting class times that best suit them. This business is ideal for someone wanting to work during school hours and have school holidays off.

The Toddler Kindy Gymbaroo (Brighton WA) franchise was developed in Oct 2005 with the centre being operational from April 2006 to September 2009. The franchise offered sessions 5 days per week and also retailed educational toys and equipment.

The franchise area includes the Kinross, Burns Beach, Clarkson, Mindarie, Quinns Rocks, Merriwa, Butler, Jindalee, Alkimos, Eglington, Yanchep and Two Rocks suburbs. Clients are also drawn from nearby areas.

Tasmania

Location

This franchise encompasses the whole of Tasmania. There are a number of areas available, with two full sets of equipment being held in the north and the south of the State. The viable areas include Hobart and surrounds such as Eastern Shore, Kingston and the Huon Valley, Launceston, the northwest incorporating the Burnie/Devonport region and the East Coast.

The Centres

Hobart Gymbaroo has the only currently operating centre in the State. We have a full range of well maintained equipment with many extras including an extensive range of small equipment and treasure bag items. Hobart Gymbaroo operates out of Sandown Pavilion, located in the affluent Nutgrove area of lower Sandy Bay. The setting is beautiful with park surrounds and only metres from the beach. There is a hall with adjacent bathroom facilities and some storage and a large car park area at the door. There is a brand new state of the art playground and barbeque facilities across the road from the Centre and a number of nearby cafes and restaurants.

The hall is maintained by Hobart City Council and has an added bonus in that the Gymbaroo equipment does not have to be packed away each week when not in use. There is the potential to increase operating days and as the only hirer of this part of the building any days of the week can be utilized. The facility is used for Carols by Candlelight in December and Hobart City Council make all arrangements to move and store Gymbaroo equipment for that event.

Hobart Gymbaroo, has operated under the current owner for the last nine years. During that time a centre was also opened in Launceston. A second set of equipment is stored in Launceston ready for a new owner. Prior to the current ownership of the franchise the centre at Sandy Bay operated at the same venue for three years under the direction of the franchisors from Melbourne.
