GymbaROO Lane Cove/Greenwich is located at 6 Greendale Street inside the lower halls at the St Giles Church. We are a 5min drive to the Lane Cove shopping a restaurant precinct. About a 10min walk down the road is our local coffee shop and IGA.
Our centre is a large space that is separated by outside stairs. We encourage parents to wear shoes that can be easily taken off and on. The benefit of this is the lower hall is a massive space for the children to explore and move.
We are well ventilated and also have an Hepa Filter Air Purifier.
All staff are Covid19 Vaccinated.
We are currently open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday.
We have street parking available. If parking on Greendale St is full, drive to the street above called Wilona Ave. Park your car and walk to the end of the cul de sac. To the right it a long pram friendly pathway that comes to our GymbaROO Greenwich Centre. This is a 2min walk. Please go to the left of the building, park the pram at the GymbaROO sign, bring your personal belonging and child down the STAIRS into the lower gym.
Some people also park at our local IGA (down on Greenwich Rd) which is about a 10min walk to us. Grab a cuppa and enjoy a stroll up to us.
Prices are $26 per lesson and this is pro rated depending on when you join. We normally run a 10 week term @ $260. If the term is less due to public holidays or other we do not charge you for this lesson.
If the staff are sick and classes are impacted you are NOT eligible for a refund. The gym will be open during your regular class period and you are asked to rely on your online content. We do our best to have all lessons covered but we are also still in the middle of the pandemic and would prefer to have sick staff stay home rather than make anyone sick.
If under circumstances the gym space CANNOT be opened then you will be offered a refund or credit.
We do not offer trial lessons at our centre at this time.
We do offer catch up lessons due to missed lessons if you are sick. We ask if you are unwell to stay home and we can easily arrange to see you another time. Please note these are subject to availability.
We do offer private mothers group lessons for 8 or more participants with prior arrangement with management (ie email Christine 🙂

"As an Occupational Therapist I understand the importance of fostering my child’s development from an early age. As such, I started attending GymbaROO Greenwich with my daughter, Matilda, when she was approximately 4 months old. Matilda and I both loved our weekly sessions and I noted advancements in Matilda’s developments during the first term alone. It was a good opportunity for Matilda and I both to socialise with other parents and babies in a structured environment. The gym at Greenwich has a good amount of equipment and the set up is varied each week to stimulate both the parents and children alike. GymbaROO provided me with techniques I can use and developmentally appropriate games I can play with Matilda at home to assist her in achieving her milestones. Christine is great with the babies and spends time explaining the purpose of each activity and what she is trying to achieve. I cannot recommend GymbaROO Greenwich highly enough."-Emma
"Poppy has been attending Gymbaroo for a year, since 4 months of age and she and I both look forward to each weekly class. The knowledge Christine shares with us on development, growth and learning has been invaluable and has given us the tools for confident parenting and a confident child. Along with Christine's impressive energy levels, the welcoming support from Annabel and the wonderful supply of new toys, games and songs, I cannot recommend Gymbaroo highly enough."-Melanie
"Our family has benefited from an ongoing involvement with GymbaROO. Christine’s classes are always fun and we take home ideas which inspire and promote learning in our everyday activities, from birth through to pre-school."-Sarah
"Summer loves GymbaROO and sings the songs and does the actions from group-time all through the week. She really loves the gym-time too - it's never laid out in the same way and there is a myriad of equipment to play on, climb and explore. I have loved seeing her confidence grow, watching her motor skills develop and seeing her benefit from being part of a group too. Christine is a dynamo, with a huge amount of energy, enthusiasm, knowledge and ideas. Many thanks to the GymbaROO team. We'll definitely keep going!"-Franki
"Both my children have attended GymbaROO and thoroughly enjoyed it. The team at Lane Cove/Greenwich are engaging, making the program both fun and educational for the children & parents."-Julia
"Initially, I was a little sceptical about Gymbaroo. However, after a couple of weeks I could see how much enjoyment my son was getting out of the activities and I could more importantly see his confidence and physical development grow. Christine's knowledge, skills and manner with the children is fabulous."-Tammy
"I've done Gymbaroo at Lane Cove/Greenwich for the past 3 terms, and it's been wonderful for both my baby and myself! We have done baby exercises and massage, play and of course adventurous time in the gym. He's always had a great time and I definitely feel like we've got a lot out of it! I'd definitely recommend!"-Alexis
"GymbaROO is an exciting, interactive and social activity where you can bond with your little one whilst make new friends. It's educational, physically challenging and visually stimulating and I would highly recommend it as a must do activity."-Rachel
