Our classes help babies and children work and develop the skills needed to reach their full potential at each stage of development.
Classes start from birth all the way to 5 years (start of school).
Gaining strength, coordination, learning essential skills such as balance or jumping and working on the inhibition of primitive reflexes are some of the many benefits GymbaROO children gain.
We are based at the New Lambton Scout Hall.
Our opening hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9.30am to 2.30pm.
Free car space available in the streets surrounding the hall.
$210 for a 10 week term.
Fees are pro-rata, so you’ll pay what weeks are left of the term when you join.
Ana. She’s the owner and teacher at GymbaROO Newcastle. She is from Spain but hasn’t lived there since 2008, although loves going back as often as possible to visit her family and friends. She has two children aged 2 and 5, and learnt about GymbaROO when she started taking her firstborn to classes in Sydney. She’s a positive and energetic teacher and loves seeing the development in the children after just few weeks at the centre!
Amanda. She’s our assistant and makes sure the centre is disinfected between classes, the climbing and large gym equipment ready for the next class and also helps Ana during the toddler classes with the flow of the class. She’s from Newcastle and is passionate about children development.
"As a first time mum, I highly recommend GymbaROO Newcastle if you’re looking for ideas on how to positively interact with your baby/toddler. Ana and her team make you feel so welcome, and create such a positive atmosphere for all. I have learnt so many exercises/songs to encourage my 10 month old daughter to move and meet her developmental milestones. Thank you to Ana and her team!"-Stephanie
"Gymbaroo Newcastle is the highlight of my 2 year old daughter's week. She loves all the equipment but equally enjoys engaging with the mat time movement, dancing and music. Ana has a lovely warm manner with all the children and guides the parents to lead their children by clearly explaining developmental stages and how to best support the children as they learn and explore. Definitely recommend!"-Bec
"GymbaROO Newcastle is a lively, welcoming space which my almost 2 year old son has loved coming to since he was 3 months old. Ana and Amanda provide such creative activities and information that we can implement at home. GymbaROO is a highlight in our week!"-Greta
"My 18 month old has absolutely loved attending GymbaROO in Newcastle. He has learnt so many new skills like climbing, jumping, singing, playing musical instruments and he really enjoys free play on the different equipment setups. Every lesson is interactive, structured and the instructors are brilliant at keeping little minds entertained. My son loves it when we pull up to the building because he knows he is about to have a great time. The best part is, they are welcoming of mums and dads - so sending my sons dad along to give me 45 minutes of peace at home has been wonderful. I will definitely be sending my newborn along too. Have loved being apart of the program for 2 terms now - thank you!
"GymbaROO has helped my child physically and socially. She has grown so much in just a few weeks. The teachers are always engaging and encouraging. As a parent the classes also provide me with tips and insights on my child's development and fun ways to play!"-Brydee
